QUEENSLAND: International swimwear brand Agua Bendita is the latest addition to the Swim Fashion Week @ Sanctuary Cove schedule.
The brand has confirmed it will showcase its latest collection as part of a group show on February 28, the second day of the Asia Pacific swim trade show.
Founded in 2003 by Catalina Alvarez and Mariana Hinestroza, the brand has an international stockist base spanning the USA, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Dubai, Japan, Italy and Central and South America. A regular participant of Miami's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, Agua Bendita will look to attract new business in the Asia Pacific region as part of its Swim Fashion Week venture.
Alvarex and Hinestroza scored a publicity coup when the label was worn by models Bar Rafaeli and Marisa Miller in the infamous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition
this year.
Agua Bendita will join Aguaclara, Christian Audigier and Ed Hardy as one of the international brands showcasing at Swim Fashion Week.
The swiwmwear show will run from February 25 to 28 at the Gold Coast's Sanctuary Cove.
