BRISBANE: Intimate apparel brand Triumph will kick off a social media strategy next month with help from a new brand ambassador.

The underwear company is set to unveil a Facebook page devoted to its Triaction range of sports bras. Providing much of the page's content will be celebrity personal trainer and new Triaction brand ambassador, Michelle Bridges.

Bridges will contribute demonstration videos plus monthly fitness and nutrition advice to the Triaction Facebook page. Triumph will also leverage its sponsorship of triathlete Emma Snowsill and the Australian Netball Diamonds as part of the Triaction promotional campaign.

The social media strategy will be complemented by Bridges' appearance at in-store events and on point-of-sale material over the next 12 months.

Triaction is one of multiple brands owned by Triumph International including Triumph, Valisère and Sloggi. Local stockists of Triaction include David Jones, Myer and Rebel Sport and Triumph also operates nine retail stores across Australia.

Triumph International has retail and wholesale operations in over 120 countries.
