SYDNEY: Fabric importer and long time rag trader Philip Smouha has been forced to put two of his fashion businesses into voluntary administration.

Only weeks after listing his three properties for sale - including the home he co-owns with his designer wife Lisa Ho - Smouha has brought in forensic accountants PPB to run three of his companies.

These include Smouha Fabrics, White Stallion trading as Hills Textiles and a boutique brewery.

According to papers filed with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), Mark Robinson of PPB was appointed to run the businesses last Thursday (March 19).

The first creditors meeting will be held on March 31.

While Ho's eponymous fashion company is not believed to be affected by the collapse it is understood hers is one of many that sourced their fabrics from the two firms.
