MELBOURNE: Victorian streetwear label Travisty is set to ramp up its marketing presence having appointed rugby league star Billy Slater as the new face of the brand.
The five-year-old brand, known for its bold and colourful T-shirts, will use Slater to front its winter and upcoming summer 2009/10 campaigns to help promote the brand to a wider audience.
Key pieces of the label's winter range include vintage hoodies, jackets and denim staples with prices ranging from $70 for a classic T-shirt through to $180 for an army-style jacket.
