Melbourne-based womenswear company Sisnme will launch its eponymous collections in the UK in February.

The news comes just six months after company founders Eliza and Annabelle Peters signed London-based sales and PR agency Goodley, which began its selling campaign earlier this month.

"Our agent is currently targeting well established boutique stores in London, including CoCo Ribbon in Notting Hill and Austique in Fulham," said Eliza Peters.

"Goodley also started their PR compaign in London about a month ago and have already managed to get a few editorials written on the label, which is terrific."

Approximately 10 accounts are expected to be signed in the UK over the coming months.

Looking further abroad, Sisnme will also launch in Hong Kong within the next six months and has entered into initial discussions with an agent in Germany.

"Whilst it's a little bit early to say how many stores we will be stocking, I can say that we have about four boutiques [in Hong Kong] that are showing interest in stocking Sisnme," said Peters.

The company is also considering expanding into the US, but at the time of press specific details were yet to be confirmed.

Sisnme, which targets women aged 16 to 30, currently maintain more than 50 accounts in Australia. The label is also stocked throughout Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore.
