La Senza's Bondi debut
La Senza went all out to herald its official arrival in Sydney's Westfield Bondi Junction recently. Greeted by waiters proffering a delightful array of vodka cocktails and rose wine, invited guests stood entranced by models proudly showing off the sponsor's product to full effect. Aside from the usual female fashionista crowd, Sydney FC import Dwight York and Roosters rugby league team utility Craig Wing added some much-needed testosterone to the night's proceedings.

Saatchi showcase
Colourful words gave way to colourful clothes when three Sydney-based fashion designers staged a catwalk show in the midst of advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi's office in The Rocks recently. The three debuting labels - Divine Trews, Faro and Belcastro - each offered the 250 invited guests a taste of the unusual drawing on designers as diverse as Vivienne Westwood and Prada for inspiration for their autumn/winter 2006 collections.


Iconic Australian lingerie and outerwear company Bonds revealed all when it opened its Sydney-based factory to promote its expanded production capabilities earlier this month. More than 500 eager people, including staff, clients and potential clients, were treated to a tour of the manufacturing facility, which churns out 80,000 garments, including 40,000 t-shirts each and every day.

:zaneRobe rocks on
Kiwi vodka cocktails and Roberts Estate wine were the order of the day when menswear company zaneRobe celebrated the launch of their summer 2005/06 range in Sydney recently. Staged at the Mars Lounge in Surry Hills, guests were treated to a scrumptious array of finger food and a sneak peak of the company's upcoming collection. Guests later rocked the night away to the pumping tunes of Hell City Glamours.
