Womenswear label Sheike has strengthened e-commerce operations and relocated its head offices as it gears up for national expansion.
The brand, which currently operates 17 stores within Australia, will launch its new website on August 1 in line with its 2011/12 spring/summer collection, which will drop into stores the same week.
The revamped Sheike site, developed by digital agency Tonic, will continue to stock all collections online but will sport a more modern aesthetic and incorporate extra features to allow more interaction with online customers. New features include digital lookbooks, detailed product pages with multiple product viewing, and inspiration and trend pages detailing how to assimilate the latest looks and work trends.
Sheike national operations manager Amanda Edey said the business refresh, which also included relocation to a larger premises in Alexandria last month, was essential to prepare for growth in Australia.
“Our focus at the moment is the re-launch of our website and our e-commerce business occurring in line with our spring/summer campaign, but we are also looking for new opportunities for growth interstate. We feel it is the right time to make the move considering our past success in NSW,” she said.
“As our business expands over the next 12 months we need our facilities to adapt and grow with the changes, so we finalised our new offices in June and we have also increased our warehouse space. However, the exciting redesign of our premises is just part of our steps towards our business growth and really cementing our brand in the national market.”
