SYDNEY: Australian lingerie designer Bruno Schiavi has teamed with the E! Network's Dr Robert Rey from the global hit series Dr 90210 to launch a shapewear collection for women.
Designed to disguise any imperfection and enhance a woman’s natural assets, the new range will feature 24 pieces combining key plastic surgery concepts with smart design.
Dubbed 'Dr Rey's Instant Shape', the range will launch across US department chain Sears in late October 2007. In addition The Home Shopping Network has also picked up the collection.
Schiavi, who has previously collaborated with radio personality Jackie O and Aussie singer Delta Goodrem, said he decided to team with Rey to show women surgery should be a last resort.
By introducing several unexpected fabrics, the garments will not only make wearers look smoother and slimmer but will also benefit the skin, Schiavi said.
Featuring bras, corsets, waist cinchers and leggings, the collection claims to "trim inches and dress sizes" from customers while whittling the waist and enhancing cleavage.
