Sexsea swimwear pushes boundaries

A new Gold Coast-based swimwear company is hoping to take the Australian swimwear market to a new level following the launch of a daring coordinates collection.
Launched online at sexsea.com.au late last month with the slogan 'Sea it, flaunt it', Sexsea Swimwear aims to address a gap in the market for daring bikinis and g-string separates.
"Our research found that there is a real demand in the swimwear market for sexy, glamorous and daring swimwear that is just not being met by traditional swimwear manufacturers," said company founder and designer Tracey Benton.
"Australia is famous for its beach culture so my aim was to combine this with a sexy lingerie theme, usually reserved for undergarments, and develop a high quality, super sexy range that can be worn on the beach and in the water."
Catering to women aged 18-39, the collection is divided into two distinct ranges dubbed Xcite and Xpose, both of which can be purchased as sets or separates in a range of striking colours and prints.
Prices range from $25 to $45 for seperates and $90 to $120 for one piece swimsuits.
