SES Fashions is looking to expand into Western Australia following its establishment of 47 doors along the east coast of Australia.

SES marketing and leasing manager Krys Cho revealed the company was investigating new territories following the opening of its latest stores at Westfield Garden City and Centro Surfers Paradise, both in Queensland.

“We are looking for opportunities in Western Australia,” Cho said. “The ladies’ fashion industry in WA is less competitive compared to Sydney. Also, the average income and spending in WA is higher than other states.”

She said the brand is hoping to open a total of five to 10 stores across Australia throughout 2011.

While parent company Grace Fashions currently operates only the SES retail banner, Cho indicated additional investments were also on the horizon.

“[W]e are planning to launch a couple of more brands in the next two years,” she said.
While she was tight-lipped about details on the new labels, Cho confirmed they would cater to the womenswear segment.

SES Fashions was established in 1990 and is a value fashion chain with stores across New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT.

The brand also operates its own online store and is among the retailers selling via Westfield's virtual shopping mall.
