MELBOURNE: Casualwear retailer T-Bar hopes to help customers forget the doldrums - and drive its T-shirt sales - with a party featuring street artist Jay Walker.
Taking place at T-Bar's Westfield Doncaster store from 6.00 to 8.00pm, this Friday April 3, the event would see Walker perform a live graffiti installation, colouring in a giant T-Shirt outline with spray paint and brushes, a spokesperson confirmed.
"But Jay's not the only artist in the crowd. Guests can explore their own creative skills with an in-store design competition, using coloured markers on a paper A2 sized T-Shirt template, with the best design on the night taking home a $200 T-Bar gift voucher."
The event would also feature a live two hour set by DJ OohEe, with all T-Bar customers receiving $10 off their purchase for the night.
