Schiavi perks up
NATIONAL: Australian fashion mogul Bruno Schiavi and singer Delta Goodrem have launched a product designed to maximise cleavage in low-cut outfits. The Xtreme Plunge Bra will debut as part of the Delta by anabella lingerie range and will be available at Big W stores nationwide on August 14. The design of the product lowers the central bar beneath the cleavage, allowing women to wear low cut tops without visible bra lines. Set to retail for $19.95, the collection is available in nude and black and will also feature a palatte of new colours including soft pinks, light blues and pastel greens.

NATIONAL: Entries for the Fashion Forecast Awards have been extended to September 1. The competition is open to all fashion labels in the area of menswear, womenswear and accessories that have been in business for two years or less. SYDNEY: Only debuting its first store in the Queen Victoria Building 18 months ago, Australian jewellery label Moi Moi was recently informed that it was among the top retailers inside the shopping complex. The rankings were based on the highest percentage increase from June 2005 to July 2006 with Sheike taking out the top female fashion boutique and Feraud earning top place for a menswear retailer. Midas also took out the top footwear outlet.
:Miles of new stock
NATIONAL:Australian footwear boutique Evelyn Miles will take delivery of collections for Rupert Sanderson and Prada for men on August 15 with extended deliveries set for September. QUEENSLAND: Hot on the heels of her first foray into swimwear, designer Lana Ford is debuting her latest Spring/Summer 06/07 line via lanaford.com.au. Sourcing fabrics from Italy and Spain, the new range is designed and manufactured in Australia and comes in a range of striped, matte and floral patterns. Starting from $50, the collection features halter-neck designs, bikinis, seperates and one piece swimsuits in bright, neutral and dark colours.
