QUEENSLAND: International property services provider Savills will target the central business districts of Australia's major cities as it continues to expand its national retail leasing division. The company is meeting with retailers around Australia on a regular basis, assessing their targeted locations and planning future sites for the coming five years.

:Designers revving
MELBOURNE: Victorian designers Jtah, Belinda Fairbanks, Lorena Laing and Anna Thomas have been given the chance to put their labels into overdrive after being invited to stage a series of shows at the Melbourne International Motor Show later this month. The quartet has also donated $4,000 worth of designer garb to organisers to use as a drawcard for lucky motor show visitors. It is anticipated some or all of the designers will be teamed with automotive companies to help develop branded merchandise.

SYDNEY: Plus-size women's footwear label Sarah-Jane Shoes is taking its range on the road. Normally available online, the label that specialises in shoes size 10 and above is holding a series of roadshows to help women shy about online shopping. :Colorado loses chief
QUEENSLAND: The chief executive of Colorado Group, Rowan Webb, has announced he will not seek to renew his employment contract which runs out in March. The Colorado board has begun a search for a new managing director that will include both internal and external candidates. The group's chief operating officer, Eddie MacDonald, will assume Webb's responsibilitis until a replacement is found.
