Running Bare eyes overseas accounts

Sydney-headquartered athletic and leisurewear company Running Bare has revealed plans to expand its overseas business operations.
The company, which also manufactures popular swimwear brands Wahine and Rival, is hoping to secure new wholesale accounts in Dubai, South Africa and Japan.
Running Bare brand manager Natalie Langton told Ragtrader she was in discussions with a store in Dubai called Tayyiba, which has shown interest in stocking the label early next year.
The company is also looking to appoint an agent in South Africa. Launched in the country approximately six months ago, Running Bare is hoping to secure new accounts with large department stores and sportswear chains in the region.
New accounts are also being eyed-off in Japan after a pilates and yoga store recently contacted the company with the view to stocking the label next year. Further abroad, Running Bare has also been approached by a department store in India called Shoppers Stop. At the time of press further details on the potential deals were yet to be announced.
Running Bare will also launch a second flagship stores in the UK later this year. Located in Temple Fortune, the store will stock the company's latest collection of women's apparel includng gymwear, leisurewear and accessories.
On home turf, Running Bare is looking to secure new accounts in Noosa, Queensland. The label, which is currently stocked in Sportsco in Noosa, is looking to launch into several undisclosed boutique stores on Hastings Street.
