NEW ZEALAND: New York fashion designer Richie Rich will launch his latest collection A*Muse, inspired by Pamela Anderson, at New Zealand Fashion Week in Auckland this month.
The designer and Anderson will both attend the event on September 25 as part of an international promotional tour for the brand.
Organic materials are key to the casual collection, which consists of bathing suits, hoodies, zip up tops, dresses and beachwear. Printed T-Shirts featuring Pamela Anderson's image are a focus of the range.
Richie Rich has been designing for many years in the US and his pieces have been worn by Sarah Jessica Parker on Sex and the City. He has also created a number of one off pieces for celebrities including David Beckham, Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake.
New Zealand Fashion week runs from September 21 to September 25.
