SYDNEY: Local womenswear label Natasha is set to make its first foray into retail, seven years after launching wholesale operations.

The owner and founder of the brand, Natasha Welsh, will launch her first boutique in Sydney's Paddington on December 1. The store will be located on William Street alongside the likes of bespoke shoe designer Andrew McDonald, lingerie label Elegantly Scant and womenswear boutique Leona Edmiston.

The store will add to Natasha's long list of local stockists including department store David Jones, Dress Me Darling (NSW), Cactus Jam (VIC), Bam & Juju (QLD) and Whistles (SA).

The label is also stocked by online retailers including Frockaholics and Runway Girl.

Key designs in Natasha's spring/summer 2010/11 collection include silk tie dye maxis ($399), stretch silk trousers ($299) and shag trim short dresses ($330). Accessories including bags, flats and heels round out the range.
