MELBOURNE: Designer Megan Park is entering the world of retail with her first store set to launch in Melbourne.
Scheduled to open on High Street Armadale on August 5, the boutique will offer the label's womenswear collection, accessories, homewares and girl's apparel.
The spring/summer 2010 range will be first in store, comprising delicate silk printed dresses, floor length floral skirts, slim leg trousers and soft, bohemian tops.
Hand stitching, beading, prints, embroidery and hand-dyed fabrics are signature elements of the label.
The space has been designed by architect Anthony Cox and interior designer Suzie Standford.
Launched 12 years ago, Megan Park is stocked broadly across Australia and in around 16 other countries.
