SYDNEY: The second of the Project Runway Australia alumni is set to make their industry debut.

Just weeks out from the launch of the second series of the popular reality runway show, Brent Zaicek one of the top-five placed designers from the first series has announced he will make his debut at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week.

The 33-year-old New Zealander, who has lived in Sydney for around eight years, will launch his first menswear collection at the April 28 to May 1 event.

Zaicek said his debut range, titled 'Different Life Breath', has been designed to complement and accentuate the masculine physique.

"My designs are all about strength and confidence," he said.

While RAFW's full designer schedule has yet to be released - organisers have promised it will be released "some time today" - it is understood Zaicek will appear as part of the new generation group showing on May 1.
