MELBOURNE: Rathdowne Fabrics and Remnants will continue to capitalise on the Project Runway phenomenon, confirmed as the exclusive fabric supplier for the third season of the television show.
The third generation family business will be the sole fabric partner for the Foxtel series, which will commence filming early next month.
Designers on the show will have access to a range of imported fabrics used by the likes of Feathers, Easton Pearson, Jayson Brunsdon, Therese Rawsthorne and Seafolly.
Founded in North Carlton's Rathdowne Street by ragtrader Harry Sunshine, the Melbourne business has been in operation since the 1970s and counts costume designers from The Australian Ballet amongst its clients.
Fabric stock includes silk, lace, beading, brocades, printed knits, suiting, woollens, polar fleeces, Lycra, bridal and home furnishings.
