PERTH: Fashion festivities will hit Western Australia today (September 4) with the launch of the eleventh Perth Fashion Festival, running until September 10.
Over 50 events will be held, including ticketed designer catwalk parades, free city retailer parades, student runway shows, an emerging designer market, a luxury goods swap party and fashion and beauty workshops.
Labels including Morrison, Ruth Tarvydas and Wheels & Dollbaby will present solo shows. Other brands including Liz Davenport, Antipodium, Empire Rose and One Fell Swoop will appear in group shows.
Chadwick model agency will hold a new model search competition, while designers and boutiques will go head to head in the Mercedes Benz WA Fashion Awards.
