Melbourne-headquartered apparel and lingerie company Pacific Brands has unveiled a host of changes to its senior executive structure as part of its ongoing business review and staff development program.
The changes, which took effect on December 1, include the appointment of Stephen Tierney to group general manager operations, Sue Morphet to group general manager of a now combined underwear and hoisery group and Steve Audsley to chief financial officer.
"These changes will allow Pacific Brands to focus on growth and and to take advantage of the many operational opportunities that exist across our group," said chief executive officer Paul Moore.
"The consolidation of our underwear and hoisery group will provide a better platform for strategic direction and brand positioning."
Tierney, who boasts more than 15 years experience with the company in a variety of financial roles, was most recently chief financial officer.
As group general manager he will be responsible for the day to day running of the four operating groups - underwear and hoisery, footwear, home comfort and outerwear and sport.
Morphet, who has worked for Pacific Brands for the past eight years, has been promoted from group general manager for underwear and hoisery (Bonds and The Berlei Group). Her role will now include the whole underwear and hoisery business including Bonds, Berlei, Holeproof, Jockey, Hoisery, TMI and Clothing New Zealand.
Paul Gould has replaced Morphet as general manager Bonds.
Audsley has been promoted from group general manager underwear and hoisery (Holeproof, Jockey, Hoisery, TMI and Clothing New Zealand).
