SYDNEY: E-tailing experts from the likes of Net-a-porter, Burberry and General Pants will take to the lectern at Australia's premier online retailing expo.

Scheduled to run over four days in July, the Online Retailer Expo and Conference will feature over 100 guest speakers from all over the world. The expo is held annually and aims to provide Australian brands with ideas and information on how to best operate online.

Among the international guest speakers is the former head of e-commerce for Ted Baker, Harrods, Pentland Brands (Speedo, Kickers) and Burberry, Martin Newman.

He will be joined by a number speakers from the US, including co-founder of Liveclicker, Justin Foster. Liveclicker develops video commerce solutions for clients including eBags, Onlineshoes.com and shoes.com

Australian speakers will include the marketing director of online surfwear store Surfstitch, Patrick Terrell; the former head of e-commerce for General Pants Group and Myer, Dan Ferguson; and former e-commerce manager of luxury portal Net-a-porter, Jon Bovard.

The conference will also feature speakers from those outside the world of fashion.

Over 2500 people are expected to attend the Online Retailer Expo and Conference, which will run from July 6 to 9 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.
