SYDNEY: Independent footwear label Nu + Nan has created a capsule collection of women’s shoes for retail chain General Pants.
Nu + Nan director and designer Cleo Chow said the brand will appear in at least 20 General Pants stores across Victoria, NSW and Queensland next week, with an initial offer of seven styles.
The range will comprise a quirky mix of heels, wedges, flat sandals and boots, with printed material and bold colours key. They will retail at under $100.
“They [General Pants] know my aesthetics and I know their customers - it seemed like the right fit,” she said.
Chow said she expects the association to be ongoing, with further collections planned.
Nu + Nan was launched in Sydney five years ago and operates three boutiques in Sydney. It also has a selection of wholesale accounts and an e-commerce portal.
