MELBOURNE: Street fashion retailer Nique is out to snare a slice of the Melbourne CBD spending power.

The 12-year-old label has launched its first inner-city pop up store in the Melbourne Central shopping centre.

Running for eight weeks, the venture will sell the brand's autumn/winter stock as well as its sale stock.

The store adds to the label's three stand-alone stores in Melbourne, including Chapel Street Prahran, Brunswick Street Fitzroy and Glenferrie Road Hawthorn. It also has an e-commerce site and is stocked in over 100 boutiques across Australia and New Zealand.

Catering to young men and women with a casual, trend oriented look, the label was launched in 1998 by designers Nick and Lucy Ennis.
