NEW HOME FOR PIERRE: Gazal Apparel has signed an agreement with SARL de Gestion Pierre Cardin to distribute Pierre Cardin tailored outerwear for men in Australia and New Zealand. Gazal Apparel managing director Michael Gazal said the three-year agreement, beginning in January 2011, will see the company build on the brand's heritage and expand its fashion offer. The French label was launched in 1958, with suits for business a key component. It will join other brands in the Gazal stable including Trent Nathan, Van Heusen, Calvin Klein and Lovable.
