MELBOURNE: Myer and Foxtel have joined forces to bring the Myer Autumn/Winter 06 fashion show to a national audience through an exclusive telecast on FOX8. Held in Melbourne on February 27 as part of the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the parade will be shown as a one-hour television special featuring catwalk action and behind the scenes access. Produced by Foxtel, it goes to air on March 1.

:Double trouble
SYDNEY: Former actors-turned-entrepreneurs Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will visit Sydney later this month to launch new collections from the mary-kateandashley brand apparel and accessories line. The range, which includes outerwear, sleepwear, footwear and accessories will be available through Big W stores.

: Pretty in Pink
SYDNEY: Kicking off the New Year, retro womenswear brand Pretty in Pink has opened its first retail store in Newtown. Designs include 40?s and 50?s inspired accessories, including novelty fabric handbags, makeup cases, headbands and purses.
Launching a clothing line at Fashion Exposed this month, designer Jess McKenzie has developed the brand with dresses, skirts, bolero?s, jackets and pencil skirt dresses all made from 30?s to 50?s reproduced vintage fabrics and retailing from $110 to $200.

:Broadway expands
SYDNEY: The three-level Broadway Shopping Centre, home to such diverse fashion brands as Giordano, Jay Jays and Modus Vivendi, is set to expand further. Plans are afoot to add a fourth level onto the mall to include an additional 30 specialty retail stores and three additional car park levels. According to a report by owners the Walker Corporation, Broadway's trade area is forecast to grow by more than 10 per cent over the next six years.

:Sydney designs
SYDNEY: Belgian-born, New York-based designer Diane Von Furstenberg is to open a flagship store in Sydney. It is understood the store will be based in Sydney's Woollahra but the exact location is not being revealed until the official store launch. Retail price points for the collection, featuring an array of prints, classic cuts and feature pieces, will be between $459 and $2000.
