Newfangled web features and more than 10 new cutting-edge designers will be added to MyCatwalk.com next month as part of its Australian web relaunch.
The fashion e-store is undergoing a huge revamp in a bid to improve the customers’ online experience and to provide more choice for shoppers. From improved customisation tools to simple one-page checkouts, MyCatwalk.com marketing head Marguerite Kramer said its product mix will be refined and re-imagined as it takes a new direction.
“Shoppers will benefit from the dynamic scrolling shopping bag and the site will also be optimised for tablet computers and will have a mobile commerce platform,” Kramer said.
New features also include an online magazine and a blog.
The Elizabeth and James apparel line, which is co-designed by well-known celebrity sisters Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, will be available from February, along with LA-based fashion brand James Perse. Shoppers will also be able to browse products from Theyskens’ Theory, which is a collaboration between former artistic director at Nina Ricci and Rochas, Olivier Theyskens, and New York-based label Theory. American jeans specialists J Brand and AG Denim will both feature on the site alongside ‘designer style’ contemporary wear by the Vince label. The Girl, by Band of Outsiders, Gryphon, Parker, Patterson J Kincaid and Velvet will also be new additions to the fashion e-store.
