NATIONAL: Streetwear chain Mooks has launched an online store in a bid to grow domestic and international sales.
The brand's full range will soon be available for purchase online, with worldwide shipping also on offer.
According to industry research firm IBISWorld, online retailers will grow by 4.3 per cent per annum over the next five years.
IBISWorld general manager Robert Bryant said speed, around-the-clock convenience and the opportunity to conduct price comparisons would drive more Australians online.
Bricks-and-mortar retailers such as Mooks would have an even greater advantage, Bryant said.
"We're seeing stronger performances from retailers combining an online offering - incorporating features such as the opportunity to return goods ordered online or to order additional stock - with a physical retail presence so that customers can browse online but buy in-store."
