NATIONAL: Mimco will adopt a double barrelled approach for its first ever involvement in L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF).
The Melbourne headquartered accessories brand has created a limited edition bag to commemorate its LMFF debut. Called the Vampirella Satchel, the bag features black shine leather and suede with a crochet over flap incorporating silver chain detailing. The bag will be available at selected Mimco stores and online from the end of February, and will retail for $699.
Mimco will also participate in the LMFF runway parades to showcase key pieces from its season one 2010 collection entitled 'Evolution Utopia'. Pieces on display will include bags, jewellery, shoes, soft accessories and hair pieces.
Founded in Melbourne in 1996, Mimco was acquired by Witchery Holdings Group in 2007. The brand has boutiques across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
