MELBOURNE: Cotton On will continue the roll out of its 'mega store' retail model when it opens a new site later this month.
The fast fashion retailer will house five of its brands under the one roof, namely Cotton On, Cotton On Body, Cotton On Kids, Rubi Shoes and Typo. The mega store will open in the Brand Junction factory outlet in Bundoora, Victoria, and will be accompanied by a stand alone Factorie store. Factorie is a youthwear label in the Cotton On brand portfolio.
Additional Cotton On mega stores have been planned by the Australian headquartered company, with confirmed sites including Birkenhead Point (NSW), Riverton (WA), Mount Gambier (SA), and Echuca and Langtree Mall (VIC).
Cotton On group secretary Ash Hardwick said Brand Junction is a "great fit" for the collection of Cotton On labels.
"We offer fast, affordable fashion and make it accessible to everyone. Our partnership with Brand Junction enables us to reach new customers," Hardwick said.
The Cotton On Group currently has 600 retail stores across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the US. The fashion company hopes to bring its store numbers into the thousands over the next five years.
