GOLD COAST: The owners of Tigerlily are set to release a luxury capsule collection by the label's original founder and designer, Jodhi Meares.
The swimwear and beachwear label, owned by Billabong International since 2007, will release the Jodhi Meares for Tigerlily capsule collection in mid-October. The range will be stocked in Tigerlily's six stores as well as selected boutiques.
Inspired by “the glamorous and relaxed style of the 70s”, the limited edition range incorporates swimwear, silk dresses and pants and kaftan-style cover-ups. Fabrics include performance-based neoprene for select swimwear designs, as well as silks and linens.
Price points range from $199 to $1200, and sizes from 6 to 14. Only 50 pieces of each style will be released.
Tigerlily was founded by Meares in 2000. The brand is now part of the Billabong brand portfolio, which also includes Element, Von Zipper, Honolua Surf Company, Kustom, Palmers Surf, Nixon, Xcel, Sector 9, DaKine and Billabong.
