McFadden steps in
SYDNEY: Jane McFadden has been appointed communications manager (fashion and corporate) of branded apparel company Gazal. McFadden joins the company from public relations agency The Arc Factory, where she worked as PR director and senior brand strategist for seven years. In her new role McFadden is responsible for the development of seasonal communications strategies for Nautica, Trent Nathan, Van Heusen and Kenneth Cole.

NEW ZEALAND: Robert Finch, former research and technology marketing manager for Textiles Canesis Network, a New Zealand-based company which provides research and development services to the textile industry, has been promoted to general manager. Finch brings to the position extensive experience in the production and evaluation of materials, especially apparel textiles and fibre-reinforced composite materials. He replaces Nigel Johnson who has resigned from the company to take up a senior management role in Australia.
