MELBOURNE: Organisers of L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) have anointed a world famous runway coach as special guest.
Best known for his role as runway coach and judge on TV series America's Next Top Model (Network Ten and Foxtel), global fashion icon, model, and TV personality J. Alexander will attend several key LMFF events during the festival program from March 15 to 22.
Alexander – who began his career strutting the catwalk for Jean Paul Gaultier in New York City - is a preferred contact for casting and coaching runway models for well-known designers, including Valentino, Galliano, Bill Blass, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Nina Ricci.
Commenting on his first visit to Melbourne, Alexander said he was "excited about this opportunity to experience the glamour and excitement of the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival."
"It promises to be the perfect introduction into the Australian fashion industry."
LMFF Director Karen Webster said she was "thrilled" to welcome him as a special guest.
