Twinkle, twinkle
Victorian era lead crystals and
vintage vinyl from the 1920s-1960s are just some of the rare materials
used in Kristina Brenke’s new jewellery range. Handmade items from her
new brightly coloured and sterling silver Masai Mara collection cost
between $350-$1,250.
Sweet nature
Australian brand Sweet Polli has designed a range of eco-friendly necklaces. From roosting robins and flower filled hearts, an array of sustainable colourful charms make up the new collection. Priced at $24.95, they feature a cotton cord and child-friendly magnetic clasp.
New sister
Melbourne-based designer and jeweller Tae Schmeisser has created a sister brand - bëuy. The vibrant pieces, priced $79-$149, are an electric take on the emblems and insignias of the 18th Century and include charm bracelets, insignia earrings and cufflinks.
Happy nappy
Adelaide-based designer Carmel Margaritis has created a high-end nappy bag for fashion-conscious mums. Due to launch later this year, the Carmelina leather range, made in China, is aimed at mums on the go. The two bags in one design has compartments for baby-related items and features a large nappy bag with a zip-off front compartment for personal use.
