SYDNEY: Ksubi will mark its 10th birthday by making its first public appearance since the onset - and subsequent resolution - of its administration woes.

The cult denim label has confirmed it will close Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW) with a showing of its latest collection, 'One Via Zero'.

The parade will be held off-site at the Royal Hall of Industries in Moore Park and will mark Ksubi's return to RAFW after a three year absence.

IMG Fashion general manager Daniel Hill oversaw the scheduling of Ksubi's show.

“The coveted title of closing slot seemed appropriate for the brand given its ongoing support for the domestic fashion industry and RAFW over the years,” Hill said.

The show will be styled by Australian Brana Wolf, editor at large of Harper's Bazaar USA and freelance design consultant to the likes of Versace. Wolf is also mentoring a collaboration with Ksubi's design team including Ksubi co-founders George Gorrow and Dan Single.

“We are really pushing ourselves to a new level to impress her, and relishing the challenges this brings,” Gorrow said.

“We have certainly had some challenges recently, it's been an emotional and physical roller coaster of late, but with all the set backs we have been able to regroup and are excited to celebrate our 10th anniversary back on the stage where it all started, the closing show of Sydney Fashion Week.”

Ksubi has also recruited Australian casting agent Kannon Rajah for their 10th anniversary show. Kannon has worked for labels including Fendi, Donna Karen and Miu Miu.

Ksubi entered voluntary administration on January 11 with debts totalling $9 million. The label was acquired by Bleach and Quiksilver founder Harry Hodge in February and subsequently relocated to Bleach's Rosebery premises in Sydney.

Single and Gorrow remain creative directors and non-executive directors of the brand.
