MELBOURNE: Kids TV hit Yo Gabba Gabba is to add colour to Myer's childrenswear offer with an exclusive clothing collection produced by local player Covert Fashions.
Comprising kids' fashion and sleepwear, the range would "mirror the show's hip, fresh style", a Covert spokesperson said.
"Covert is excited to have the opportunity to design a kids' range that steers away from the stereotypical license product that is out there. Covert has successfully designed a range that is more sophisticated, not overly branded and which has an innovative retro style."
Yo Gabba Gabba would initially be positioned in a designated section in Myer Melbourne's childrenswear section, stocking Yo Gabba Gabba apparel and toys.
With price points ranging from $24.95 for T-Shirts to $32.95 for long sleeve tops and pyjamas and $49.95 for hoodies and dressing gowns, the first drop of 10 styles would be in store this week. The label would see 18 styles in store in April, followed by monthly drops thereafter.
A Yo Gabba Gabba range targeted at adult fans was also a possibility in the future, the spokesperson confirmed.
