NATIONAL: Jockey is pushing its sports credentials with the launch of new lines for men and women for spring/summer 2010.
For men, the underwear company has created a new Performance Plus range, with moisture reducing fabric suited for use during sports. Styles include briefs, trunks and midway cuts, with a double-layer of paneling for support.
Cricket star Mitchell Johnson is fronting the marketing campaign for the products.
For women, it has developed its New Look collection with a seam free brief called Next Generation. Two years in development, the brief has a lightweight fabrication and stretch silicon ribbing to prevent the underwear from moving. Styles include bikini, boyleg, high cuts and full briefs. Colour options are pink, dusk and black.
A new fashion range called Evita features modal and lace as the key fabrics. It comprises briefs and camisoles in various muted tones.
Former Australian swim champion Giaan Rooney is the women's ambassador for the season.
The new collections hit major department stores Myer and David Jones this month, along with independent retailers nationally.
