MELBOURNE: Jack London is set to launch five David Jones concession stores ahead of its first stand alone show at L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF).

The Melbourne-based menswear brand, designed by Karl Bartl, will launch the concession spaces in the department store retailer on Friday January 28. Locations are David Jones in Sydney city, Melbourne city, QueensPlaza in Queensland, Rundle Street in South Australia and Hay Street Mall in Western Australia.

The label operates five of its own stores across Melbourne, including a recent opening in Flinders Lane, Melbourne. It also has stores in Adelaide and Perth and is seeking a location for its first Sydney store, with plans to open by April 2011.

“In the next 12 months we are hoping to grow our David Jones concessions and open more locations across Australia,” Bartl said.

Bartl announced the label will stage its own show at the forthcoming LMFF event. LMFF will be held from March 14 to 20, 2011.

Jack London offers two seasonal ranges each year, however special styles will be offered exclusively to David Jones to celebrate the launch.
