NATIONAL: Australian fashion businesses will shortly be offered more assistance to protect their intellectual property.
The Federal Government this morning announced a new initiative which will give designers and fashion business owners greater access to nationally accredited IP training packages.
The training, funded by IP Australia, offers small businesses practical knowledge about protecting and benefiting from OP.
Available from selected training organisations, the course features eight units which covers topics such as managing and growing IP, protecting business identity and securing new inventions.
The training package will be available from semester two.
