PERTH: A series of free seminars featuring three international experts from the fashion industry will be held across four states in November.

Hosted by the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Resource Centre of Western Australia (TCFWA), the talks will explore best practice initiatives across a number of topics. They are pitched at small businesses wishing to grow and expand.

At each event, Lynsay McConachie from Fashion Enter London will address the topic of HR, Building the Right Team. Susan Langdon from Toronto Fashion Incubator will look at environmental trends in the apparel industry and Frances Harder from Fashion Business Inc in Los Angeles will look at international trends in areas such as product development and technology for design and production.

The event will be held in Sydney on November 9, Melbourne on November 11, Perth on November 15 and Brisbane on November 19.

The seminars are the result of the Australian Government Workshop's Industry Intelligence Networking program (WIIN). WIIN is a competitive small grants program that helps organisations deliver seminars, workshops and other activities to small and medium sized businesses.
