NATIONAL:A creditor of collapsed corporatewear chain Herringbone has confirmed speculation the business could soon be purchased by a German retailer.
Looksmart Alterations executive Rami Mikhael, who operates three sites in CBD Sydney and was part of a committee of creditors, said administrators BRI Ferrier could make an announcement on the sale as early as this week.
While Mikhael declined to name the prospective buyer, he confirmed reports in The Australian Financial Review yesterday which said Herringbone was likely to be purchased by an unnamed German retailer.
BRI Ferrier told Ragtrader last week a third creditor's meeting would be called before the end of March.
