Trend-driven womenswear label Stylestalker will release its autumn/winter 2011 collection through department store David Jones, following a string of international stockist coups.

The 'Beautiful and the damned' collection will be the first to be stocked by the department store, featuring gothic textures such as leather, printed chiffons, oversized knits and lace in a moody palette of black, grey marle and khaki.

While the brand has retained its signature body-con styles and cutout detailing, more voluminous silhouettes have also been introduced with flared legs, sleeves and floor-sweeping garments.

Its partnership with David Jones comes as Sass & Bide prepares to exit the department store, after rival Myer acquired a 65 per cent stake in the brand.

Sass & Bide was a dominant player in David Jones' youth designer division, with prominent merchandising in-store and a strong presence in its marketing collateral.

Stylestalker has enjoyed recent success in the UK market, securing online giant ASOS for its winter 2011 range and launching through Selfridges in 2010.

Stylestalker has also garnered a loyal celebrity following; spotted on the likes of Sienna Miller, Vanessa Hudgens and Kim Kardashian.
