Master of the house
Celebrity stylist Jonathon Pease (pictured here with models) proved there really was no rest for the wicked at the launch of Master/Slave's latest collection. Making the most of a seasonal break in shooting Australia's Next Top Model, Pease was on hand to style creations from the brand's designers Eleni Kondos and Roderick Ng. Guests were treated to an intimate dinner at Sydney nightspot Favela before witnessing a cracking display of Oriental-inspired couture frocks.
Three's a crowd
Burgers, beer and Oyster Bay - they don't call their brand 3 Wise Men for nothing. Founders of the New Zealand headquartered shirting label were out to please at the launch of their first flagship store in Australia. Offering guests the opportunity to sample the product - ie. walk away with a free shirt in time for Christmas - Hugh Cotterill, Richard Miles and Simon Peacocke were also present to offer a guided tour of the Paddington site in Sydney.
Don't get too cocky
Rooster-friendly streetwear brand Le Coq Sportif promised "free booze for the early birds" when it hosted a recession proof night at Sydney's Tatlers nightclub. Tipped as a branding exercise, the evening featured musical acts Cut Copy, Van She Tech, Magic Happens and Ron Radge which kept guests bopping well into the night.

Footwear brand Zu had two reasons to pop open the champers before Christmas - the retailer debuted its autumn/winter 2009 collection and launched its new flagship store before Santa had a chance to make his way down the chimney. Media and industry guests were invited to an early-morning viewing at Sydney Central Plaza Arcade on in mid-December, enjoying a cheeky burlesque show in the process. Staff members at the new store - pictured here - had plenty of reasons to smile.
