NATIONAL: Dutch denim brand G-Star is on the rollout rampage with a series of new stores announced across the country.
It opened a store in Top Ryde Shopping Centre in Sydney on March 16 and is opening in the Sydney CBD MidCity Centre on March 23. Soon to open are stores in Canberra Centre and Wesley Quarter in Perth.
The retailer currently has 18 national stores and is pushing forth with a growth strategy to operate 33 stores by the end of 2013.
Each new store will be a franchised flagship, with the complete men’s, women’s and accessory collections offered.
Interior design features are created by the G-Star store design team using natural and raw materials.
In other moves the label recently assigned international actress Liv Tyler to front its latest marketing campaigns, with a view to capturing greater womenswear spend.
