Watch and accessories brand Fossil showcased its winter 06 line to a bevy of media fashionista's and the odd fashionisto at the Ocean Room restaurant in The Rocks last month. Introducing T-shirts and its best selling charm bracelet watch, the Texan company is opening four new stores nationally this year.

:SOFA launches
The gorgeous and glamorous partied in Wellington recently at the opening of SOFA (Society of Fashion and Art). A retail gallery space where fashion meets art, photographic and time based media is weaved throughout the gallery, where art becomes an accessory to fashion. Showcasing the creativity and innovation of various local artists, the space features the work of New Zealand fashion designers; Mala Brajkovic, Miss Crabb, Cybele and Lela Jacobs.

:Small bone big party
Sydney-based designer Ruby Smallbone launched her spring/summer 06/07 collection during an intimate soiree in Waterloo recently. Guests on the night were greeted with a selection of compari-based drinks together with a selection of Peugeot cars with the automotive brand keen to continue its association with the label after Smallbone was commissioned to design a dress for its 2005 motorshow promotional staff.
