SYDNEY: He made his Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW) debut as a fresh faced graduate, but Christopher Esber was forced to cancel his commercial launch this morning for personal reasons.
Esber was scheduled to kick off the last day of RAFW with an off site showcase at 9am. Organisers would not comment on the specifics behind the decision to cancel but noted the first show of the day would be from swimwear label Anna & Boy at 10am.
Esber first showcased his work at RAFW spring/summer 2008/09 as part of the annual TAFE NSW Fashion Design Studio parade. He was joined by fellow graduate Dion Lee, who staged his first independent RAFW parade earlier this week.
