NATIONAL: Fashion designer Nicola Finetti and Rosemount Australian Fashion Week executive Graeme Lewsey are among the judging panel for a national scholarship program.
Entries for the 2010 DHL Fashion Export Scholarship are set to close on June 8, 2010. The scholarship is open to Australian fashion designers who have been exporting for less than four years, with the winner receiving international freight to the value of $10,000 and coaching in freight and logistics from DHL Express.
DHL Express fashion executive Jamila Dlala will also join Finetti and Lewsey on the judging panel, which was revealed today.
Womenswear label Stolen Girlfriends Club was the first New Zealand winner of the grant in 2008. The label is now sold across the US, Australia, the UK, Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai and have been picked up by UK online giant Asos.
