SYDNEY: Motorcycle clothing and accessories supplier McLeod Accessories is investing around $500,000 in a new enterprise application solution from software company Intentia Australia. The application will cover finance, sales, procurement, warehousing and distribution.
:Offer withdrawn
BRISBANE:Queensland Cotton has formally withdrawn its proposal to merge with Namoi Cotton Co-operative. The merger proposal offered $0.71 for each Namoi capital unit and $2.70 for each grower share. An additional premium of at least $30,000 for each eligible grower was offered in recognition of the value attributable to future grower rebates. The proposal was originally submitted to Namoi's board in July 2005.

SYDNEY: In the last issue of Ragtrader an article appeared under the headline "Tsubi joins Jeans West". The story was about Tsubi designers Dan Single and George Gorrow creating a high-end diffusion line for the high street brand. Tsubi wish to make it known the agreement with Jeans West is between Single and Gorrow and not the Tsubi label.
