Cotton On to launch childrenswear chain

Melbourne-based menswear, womenswear and childrenswear retailer Cotton On will launch a new retail chain called Cotton On Kids later this month.

The new concept will open in three locations -- Eastlands and Knox City in Melbourne and Miranda in Sydney -- by the end of August.

A further three stores in Sydney and Melbourne are scheduled to open their doors before the end of the year.

Catering to boys and girls, the stores will stock a broad range of children's clothing in sizes 000 to 11.
The Cotton On Kids stores will be smaller than existing Cotton On stores. Selected stores will also stock a small range of adults clothing.

The company has also revealed plans to open 20 more Cotton On stores within the next six months.
Details regarding store locations were not available at the time of press.
The company currently operates 72 stores in Australia, 20 of which have opened in the last six months.
