NATIONAL: Noni B's Mother's Day campaign will be superseded by a 'winter woolies' charity drive.
The womenswear retailer has teamed up with Mission Australia to host 'Jumpers for Joy'. The program encourages customers to donate jumpers to Noni B stores in exchange for in-store discounts.
Customers will also be encouraged to part with spare coins whilst in-store, with all jumpers and proceeds raised to be donated to Mission Australia to provide support to those in need this winter.
It is the second year Noni B has adopted the program and the company's managing director James Kindl said it was a positive initiative for both customers and staff.
“Through its prominent role in Australian women's fashion, Noni B together with their customers know we can help this worthy cause,” Kindl said.
Noni B is aiming to double its 2009 results which amounted to a collection of 5000 jumpers and just under $5000.
Jumpers for Joy 2010 will run from Monday May 10 to Sunday May 23.
